With Pride weekend upon us here in Seattle, Seattle-based publisher Fantagraphics is in the mood to celebrate. This week, Fantagraphics posted a list via their website of some of the top picks of books they have published with LGBTQ themes. According to the publisher’s official blog (titled FLOG!): “Seattle loves parades. But what we love more than parades is PRIDE! In downtown Seattle this Sunday, June 29, you can found yourself doused with glitter, families, and suggestive floats. (The gay goth one is my favorite). We at Fantagraphics have always been committed to publishing stories of the daily lives, the complexities, the struggles, and the joys that have been represented through our diverse artists, drawing light on an ever-changing LGBTQ community.”

The list includes everything from fan favorite Love and Rockets to the newly acquired Wuvable Oaf. Not only is the list a good jumping off point to explore what Fantagraphics has to offer, but just to show their own sense of Seattle Pride, each title featured on the list will come with available discounts and bundled deals now through June 29! More details available on the Fantagraphics website. Happy reading and HAPPY PRIDE!
